Hi all. Happy Monday.
This weekend Ben turned 30. After the Surprise party last weekend we had another full weekend of celebrations 🙂 Once with the gym crew, and a family meal.
And, 3 cakes – 3!! A reece’s peanut butter cup inspired peanut and chocolate cake, made by our beautiful and talented friend at brunch on Saturday. A chocolate sponge traybake for his work, and a birthday chocolate cheesecake for our family meal. Who’s a lucky boy 🙂
As always, Saturday started with a trip to the gym. We had a taster session of the new BodyCombat – can’t wait for the full deal 🙂
Home for a quick bath before we were off to brunch with the Champs. I love those peeps – we had a great turn out to celebrate Ben’s 30th. You can see Ben’s fish finger sandwich and fries – perfect food for a 30th birthday 🙂
From there we popped out to get some food in, and I had to get ingredients for the cake. I baked while Ben put up the Christmas decorations – yes! they are up now. Can’t believe I’ve not taken a photo yet though.
Probably because no sooner than we’d finished all that, we were off out for a Christmas party with the Gym crew.
I remembered to get a photo this time around, though the scarf somewhat ruins the silhouette.
Sunday was Ben’s real birthday, so we had a meal out with our families, and then some of us went on to the Nativity service at Church.
3 birthday cakes? Man Ben is one lucky guy! I think out of three my favorite would be the pb cup one. I’d be eating it for breakfast. Hah!
3 cakes and 3 lots of leftovers – yep, he was spoilt for his 30th 🙂
